Pulmonary rehabilitation is a programme of exercise and education for people with a long-term lung condition. Aim of pulmonary Rehabilitation is to reversing or stabilizing the extra-pulmonary effects of lung diseases.
Why pulmonary rehabilitation?
Rising air pollution in a Delhi is leading to rising incidences of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory diseases in the population. As air pollution reached alarming levels in the national capital Region, a surge in the number of patients suffering from respiratory and breathing complications, especially children and the elderly.
